Welcome to my digital portolio!
My name is Mark, and I am a student at Simon Fraser University's School of Interactive Arts & Technology. I am interested in better connecting people and technology through design by creating experiences that are enjoyable, intuitive, and human. Through my work, I aim to positively impact everyday experiences by focusing on accessibility, usability, and a clear understanding of the people I am designing for.
Outside of school, I am always learning new tools and skills to improve my design process. Lately, I have been experimenting with AutoLume, a tool that uses GANs for generative art, and through my current co-op, I have been developing my technical writing skills through self-learning, focusing on clarity, audience awareness, and a direct goal.
I find that real-world experiences fuel my creativity, help me question the way things are done and therefore improve my creations. Whenever I get the chance to take a new route home, meet someone new, or travel somewhere unfamiliar, I welcome it.
